Mark Valenti

President

Mark Valenti saw something most didn’t: a niche in antitrust settlements where trusted advisors could help clients navigate complex claims and recover what they were owed. That insight, combined with decades of entrepreneurial grit, led to the founding of DCAP Claims.

What began with helping merchants through a complex national settlement became something far greater. As Mark puts it, “We didn’t just find a product—we found a purpose.” (And a lot of paperwork.) From those early days partnering with payment processors to educate their clients, Mark helped grow DCAP into a national consultancy with over 3,000 active clients and a presence across dozens of complex settlements.

Mark draws on his faith to lead with integrity, patience, and a deep sense of purpose—especially in an industry that demands resilience and long-term trust. “Operating on 100% contingency requires faith—from our team, our clients, and from me,” he says. “But we believe in what we do, and more importantly, who we’re doing it for.”

One of Mark’s proudest moments came when a senior executive from a national restaurant group called to personally thank him—the funds recovered in a poultry settlement were enough to fund the company’s entire executive bonus pool for the quarter. That client has since entrusted DCAP with multiple additional settlements.

Today, Mark continues to lead DCAP’s growth with the same entrepreneurial spirit and client-first integrity that launched the company. His mission remains simple and unwavering: help good businesses recover the money they rightfully deserve—period.

Michael Webb

Chief Executive Officer

Michael Webb leads with people first, a calm hand, and just enough coffee to keep things moving. A lifelong Yankees fan and a trained lawyer (please don’t hold that against him), Michael brings a collaborative, steady style to everything from client conversations to team huddles.

When his childhood friend Mark Valenti pitched him the idea for DCAP, it didn’t take much convincing. Michael saw the opportunity right away: a chance to help real businesses recover real money—while staying focused on what matters most: running their business.

While Mark is focused on client growth, Michael handles the day-to-day—keeping things moving, solving problems, and making sure the team stays grounded in what really matters: trust, follow-through, and people first.

He believes great work happens when everyone knows where they’re going and feels supported in getting there. He’s at his best when the situation is messy, the deadline is tight, and someone just needs to say, “We’ve got this.”

When he’s not giving the newsletter just one more round of edits, you’ll find him checking Yankees box scores or reworking a team process he swore was final(Spoiler: it never is).

Leigha Mamula

Director of Operations & Client Integrity

No claim slips through the cracks under Leigha’s watch. As Director of Operations at DCAP Claims, Leigha Mamula oversees the intake, organization, and validation of thousands of files with meticulous care and high standards. But it’s not just operational rigor that defines her role—it’s the trust she builds with clients, ensuring every engagement feels personal and protected.

Leigha brings a unique blend of precision, compassion, and quiet leadership to the firm’s engine room. She thrives on solving complex problems behind the scenes, making sure every claim is positioned for success and every detail is accounted for.

She’s also the kind of person who sends a “just checking in” message before a client even thinks to ask. With Leigha at the helm of operations, clients—and colleagues—can rest easy knowing their claim is in the best possible hands.

When she’s not managing workflows or client files, there’s a good chance she’s reorganizing her pantry—for fun.
